Feeling blue

Today, I felt like doing blue. It's coming up to winter and I'm not quite ready to stamp on the snowflakes and admit defeat to winter just yet, so little blue daisies it is. I used a Model's Own light blue and a Barry M dark blue as my base coats, with Konad black and white special stamping polishes. These are definitely my favourite so far!

Ombre nails (with dots of course...)

This is my first attempt at ombre nails and it turned out surprisingly well. They key I think is to put a good coat of white underneath before you start sponging the colours on. I covered it in dots but I could have left it as it was.

Stensils! My new favourite toys...

I have already mentioned how I am terrible at drawing. So when I found these stensils on Amazon, I was completely sold! I bought one of the Cheeky sets of stensils and a stamper and scraper by Konad. Konad also does a fantastic range of stamping colours. You can use any brand of nail polish as your base coat and then use the Konad stamping colours for the stensils. They are super thick colours so go really well into the stensils for easy stamping onto your nails.

Here are some of my favourites from this week!

Flowery

The really fun thing about the dotting tools is that you can do so much more than dots... Flowers are now so easy! I'm a really rubbish artist and can't draw to save my life, so loving the dotting tool.

Feeling a little dotty...

I bought some new dotting tools recently. I've been experimenting with designs and colours and it is so much fun! It's super easy and everyone is always asking where I got my nails done! You can buy the nail dotting tools for under £10 on Amazon. They come in different sizes. I have the Cheeky ones.

I'm loving the black and white and the neon colours on white at the moment!

Nails

I've been doing nail art for 2 years and I'm pretty sure all my friends are sick of me putting photos up on facebook every couple of days so I've decided to create a blog! :)
